Hawthorne Project (41st & Hawthorne)

This redevelopment includes new storefronts with floor to ceiling glass and 20 off-street parking spaces. It is slated to be delivered Fall 2008.

Hawthorne Boulevard is a main four-lane roadway running east and west. Westbound it runs into downtown Portland (via Hawthorne Bridge), eastbound to Mt. Tabor. The major north/south four-lane roadway is 39th Avenue. The average daily traffic count at 39th Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard is approximately 45,435 cars per day. Public transit (TriMet) is well used in this area and biking is popular.
