Earlier this month, ATLAS Cider owners Dan and Samantha McCoy announced that ATLAS Cider will change to AVID Cider Co. The change will occur prior to this summer’s planned opening of their new tap-house in the Couch 9 building (located in the Pearl District on NW 9th & Couch).
The 5-year-old company will continue to make the same delicious PNW cider and have the same recognizable branding, the only thing changing is the name! – The Bulletin
On the company’s Facebook Page, they unveiled the new name and logo combination with the caption,
“Why AVID CIDER CO? Our goal as a company is to simply be avid with everything we do, beginning with turning NW Fruit into cider, but has grown to so much more…”
If you’re in Bend on June 1st, head over to the ATLAS to AVID 5th Year Anniversary Carnival to celebrate the name change!
“You’re invited to our 5th Year Anniversary Carnival and unveiling of our new name – AVID Cider Co. Fun for all with rides including the Ferris Wheel, Vertigo Swings, Zipper, and 100 ft Sack Slide (NEW!). Also look for our carny game debut, the AVID Bottle Ring Toss. A full food cart lot will add a sweet or savory treat to the mix to compliment a full line up of our ciders. Don’t miss our nightly concerts…” more information here!
Yesterday, May 30th, AVID posted on their Facebook that anyone who buys their first drink token will receive a free AVID Cup!
AVID is still on track to open later this summer in the Couch 9 building!
