March is an exciting month for food and beer lovers. Here are a few reasons for Portland foodies to celebrate: Portland Dining Month (go try something new), The Oregon Ducks will be in the NCAA Tournament (eat all the junk food and drink all the beer), and, last but not least, Breakside Brewery is opening its new NW Portland location today (drink award winning beer in Slabtown)! Urban Works‘ Brian Greeley & Dan Bozich helped bring this great brewery to the up-and-coming district. The 5,000 SF multi-level space includes the brewpub, an on-sight brewing facility, a private dining area, and a roof top deck (coming soon). Breakside joins New Seasons, Besaw’s, The Solo Club, and Please Louise pizzeria in what is becoming one of Portland’s culinary centers. Urban Works wishes the Breakside team all the best with their new location and can’t wait to belly up to the bar and grab a cold one. Cheers!
