About Slabtown Marketplace
Slabtown Marketplace & LL Hawkins is a $46 million development featuring an adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse building and a newly constructed LEED Gold apartment building on one full northwest Portland city block. This development is the first phase of the much larger Slabtown Development underway in the neighborhood.
Our History with the Development
As a classic example of Urban Works' ability to wear many hats in and around Portland's real estate world, we started out working on the development side with Brian Greeley (now a broker at Urban Works) on the CE John project development team. After Capstone took over the development, Brian joined Urban Works to become a valued member of our leasing team, bringing his well-rounded market knowledge to help place the perfect tenants in the development.
A District Revivement
At Urban Works, we enjoy matching businesses and restaurants with the perfect space that will transform and enhance urban markets. The Slabtown Marketplace & LL Hawkins was an opportunity to help our development partners completely redefine and build the neighborhood from scratch. Urban Works’ goal was to bring in premium retailers and restaurants that would set the tone for the entire Slabtown community as a highly livable neighborhood with the draw of destination shopping, dining, and entertainment. Now FULLY LEASED, we could not be more pleased with the tenant mix we placed.
