Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) has ranked Portland, OR among the top 10 cities to watch. The rankings in this year’s “Emerging Trends in Real Estate” favors cities with better growth opportunities.
The survey revealed a new number-one market: Dallas/Fort Worth, which climbed four spots from last year. Nashville, Atlanta, and Portland, Oregon, are new entrants into the top ten for 2016.
“The 2016 outlook for investment by Portland property type is led by the industrial and office sectors. The two commercial property types are higher than both of the residential-related sectors. Portland survey respondents feel good about their local market, but do see some room for improvement in public and private investment and the local development community.”
