LEASED | Slabtown Marketplace

Slabtown Marketplace and LL Hawkins bring together the adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse building and a newly constructed LEED Gold apartment building on one northwest Portland block.  This initial development in one of the city’s most anticipated neighborhoods, Slabtown, is anchored by a 28,000 square foot New Seasons Market.

The site is ideally located at the north end of Portland’s popular Northwest Neighborhood District. A Master Plan for the area was recently adopted by the City of Portland that envisions a “20 minute” sustainably designed, mixed-use neighborhood that includes housing, offices, local retail shops, restaurants, brewpubs, coffee shops, and public greenspaces.  This new “Slabtown District” is named after the slabs of wood that used to be stacked in front of the old lumber mills that were historically located in this part of Portland, thus coining the term “Slabtown”.
