Urban Works Real Estate is excited to announce that Block 296 (Slabtown Marketplace and The LL Hawkins) of the Slabtown Development in NW Portland is FULLY LEASED. Urban Works brokers Brian Greeley and Dan Bozich worked diligently to create a dynamic tenant mix for the approximately 46,000 SF of ground-floor retail space serving as the hub for the growing community.
Thrilled with the final lease signing for Block 296, Brian Greeley said, “As the first phase of this massive redevelopment, our goal was to set the tone by bringing essential retailers to Slabtown who fit our partners’ vision for the neighborhood. We couldn’t be more excited with this well-rounded tenant mix and believe the neighborhood is a better place now that they are here.” Brian and Dan are now in the process of leasing 13,150 SF of ground-floor retail space in the neighboring Leland James Building (Block 295W), and will soon oversee the retail offerings at Blocks 294E and 295E, currently under construction.

Located at the blocks surrounding NW 21st/22nd and Quimby/Raleigh Streets, Slabtown, formerly the Con-Way Master Plan, is co-developed by Capstone Partners and Cairn Pacific to bring premier retail, spectacular creative office, and elegant residential spaces to the area. The neighborhood earned its “Slabtown” moniker from the various lumber mills that previously dominated the area. Urban Works is excited to continue working with Capstone Partners and Cairn Pacific in helping transform the area to the extremely livable community of Slabtown.
