Tells us what brought you to Urban Works?
Nicole – “I’ve been a leasing broker for close to 5 years now, and I’ve worked with Kia Hartley on several occasions, as well as other members of the Urban Works team, and it was always a positive experience. I’ve admired what the company has done as a whole, from client relationships to the types of projects and listings, I just had to be part of this team.”
Tyler – “I used to work in the Lloyd District directly across from Hassalo on 8th. I watched that development break ground to and come to fruition. I would pass by Urban Works’ window signs where Green Zebra is set to go in, day in and day out. When I was ready to switch careers and move into commercial real estate, Urban Works was my first call.”
What do you look forward to working on here at UW?
Nicole – “I’m a Portland native. I’ve watched different quadrants of the city grow and change over the years, and I have an extensive background in both retail and real estate which helps me understand Portlanders’ tastes and the city’s retail & restaurant trends. My goal is to help both regional and national businesses understand and take the appropriate steps to entering a market that may seem a little finicky at first.”
Tyler – “I’m here to fill in the gaps wherever needed and work with the rest of the team on cultivating client relationships and making dreams come true for businesses and real estate investors across Portland.”
How about some insight into life outside the office?
Tyler – “I got engaged on Dec 28th, I also just changed careers and went through a major home remodel. I thought it was a great idea to do it all at the same time…”
Nicole – “I’m really looking forward to what 2016 has in store. We just got back from a wonderful family vacation in Maui and celebrated my Son’s 1st birthday! Everyday is a new adventure with him and I can’t wait to see what will happen next!”
